I saw the new version and installed. Now works fine, good job and thanks.

When directory structure is too big, it takes too long to generate the file list. I think you could improve this in future releases.

When trygin widgekit module we tried as module. We read the documentation. Tried with mod_login and worked fine.

… More information to our last post … I think we have found what happens.

Directories are not generated Ok at the listing, we do have like this

/model-1-name/firmware/version1/file1.zip

/model-1-name/firmware/version2/file2.zip

/model-2-name/firmware/version3/file3.zip

/model-3-name/firmware/version4/file4.zip

/model-3-name/firmware/version2/file4.zip

/model-3-name/firmware/version1/file5.zip

… and so on

What happens is that “firmware” directory for all models is showed, ex when you click on model 1 and open the firmware director all version directories will be showed.

Thanks for your fast response

Has there been any errors in your php error logs

How to see it ?. I think will be no errors, just timeout. It seems the script takes too long to load, cause I did reduced the number of directories and now there is a popup window warning about script not working. When this happens if click on “continue” one or two times, finally the script execution finishes and we do get the directory listing but it is too slow.

Maybe we should use “Easy Folder Listing Pro” ? We would like to have nice look for file and directory listings for our download area and integrate it with joomla.

Hi Michael,

Only 100 files or something like this. We have done a lot of testing and noticed that blank page occurs when there is a lot of folders, not a lot of files.

We can see the /images folder Ok with more than 500 files and only 8 – 10 directories.

I can prepare link with subfolder list to allow you see the problem and also another link with no subfolder list to allow you see the number of files.

We only need a component (or module) that shows files and subdirectories. Some years ago we developed our own code http://www.alvaco.es/index.php/Descargas but is php and not integrated with Joomla and we would like to have integration (folder rights … etc). No need to have fields or personalized fields.

The new site we are building / testing with Joomla 2.5 is new.alvaco.es

Also we purchased puretabs and found problems but will inform you in a different post.
