    @sjuro54. Thanks for posting. What version of Easy Folder Listing Pro do you have?

    Updating via the Joomla Update System was added in version 3.3, so if you have a lower version, you will not be able to update that way. You also need a valid order number that is within the 1 year of purchase for you to have an active subscription for updating.

    If you do have a valid order number and version, then you should be able to update via the Joomla update system.

    You may also update by logging into ValorApps.com and downloading the software, and then installing it on your site.

    I have entered the correct orderid (H3G8L51) in the Easy Folder Listing Pro Options under Subscription Updates when I first installed the plugin. Still gets the error message.

    I downloaded the updated plugin and reinstalled it, but I would still like the automatic update to work – for future updates. What can be wrong – Are there any other places I must add the orderID?

    @sjuro54. Thanks for following up.

    I just testing updating using your order number on my test server, and it updates successfully. I think the order number is case-sensitive. Please re-enter and try again. Thanks.

    I copied the order number from the order confirmation, where it was all uppercase, and the number I sent you was copied directly from the options screen, so there must be another explanation. We’ll see next time you release an update.

    @sjuro54. OK.

    I had. look at my update server code, and tweaked it a little. Should work now for you, but as you said, you will see the next time there is a release.

    Thanks.

    Great.
    BTW – Love the plugin (will love it even more when you implement video preview 😀 )
