rename of file at upload stage

HI is it possible to make changes so that when a user uploads a file they need to rename the attachment?

so for example if they are uploading a photo called 00000122.jpg i would like them to either be prompted with or be able to rename it to say Funday_Out.jpg

IS this possible?

@trucks79. Which extension are you asking this question for? Currently, none of my file uploading extensions have that feature.

The permissions need to be set on the server and not the file your up loading.
not a very good way to say that
You would need a .script to set them after uploading, file must be on the server before it can be given permissions.
