Hi, after the installation there were some problems:
1. Collapse – Expand not working.
2. No access to files outside the Root directory of site. If I want to open a file, I get the following message Apache: Forbidden. You don’t have permission to access /D:/Documents/DNS.txt on this server.
I added in config Apache httpd.conf
123456<Directory "D:/Documents"><br />AllowOverride All<br />Options Indexes FollowSymLinks<br />Order allow,deny<br />Allow from all<br /></Directory>But that’s why it did not work?
Joomla 1.5.17
plugin Easy Folder Listing Pro v.2.8.5

July 24, 2013 at 1:31 pm #1409Michael GilkesKeymaster@ravencrow. Thanks for posting. I tried to access your site, but it seems to be down. Anyways, here are my answers to your points:
- You are using an unsupported version of Joomla. You should upgrade to 2.5. If you can’t, at least upgrade to the latest 1.5 release. After you do that follow the instructions in the FAQ on how to fix the collapsing issue you are having.
- My listing plugins are all designed to list files in the Joomla root directory. They will not list files located outside of the root.
August 8, 2013 at 4:09 pm #1410ravencrowParticipantI am upgrade Joomla to 3.1.5.
PHP v5.3.5
Mootools v1.4.5
jQuery v1.8.3
but Collapse – Expand not working.
Why?
September 4, 2013 at 9:43 pm #1411yuhuihuangParticipantCollapse / Expand do not work for me either. All my subfolders load as expanded and won’t collapse even though I have the collapse option checked.
I am currently using Easy Folder Listing Pro 2.8.5 on Joomla 3.1.5.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!

September 5, 2013 at 7:47 pm #1413yuhuihuangParticipantHere is the link with the Easy Folder Listing Pro: http://www.heibaiwugui.com/index.php/research-proposal
Also, is there any way to preview the files in a new tab or window?
Thank you for your assistance!
September 6, 2013 at 4:53 am #1414Michael GilkesKeymaster@yuhuihuang. Thanks for posting the link. The problem is that Mootools is not being loaded on that page of your site. Something is blocking it from being loaded. If I go the home page, Mootools is loaded. However, when I go to the page with the listing, it is not referenced at all. You can verify this your self by looking at the source html on both pages, and you will see mootools-core.js and mootools-more.js as a script reference on the home page, but not on the listing page. These files should be loaded on every Joomla page, not just the home page.
Yes, files can be viewed in a new tab or window. However, the normal preview will work once you get Mootools to load like it should.
September 6, 2013 at 1:26 pm #1415yuhuihuangParticipantDo you have any advice or instruction on how to reference Mootools on the listing page?
Thank you!
September 6, 2013 at 6:57 pm #1416Michael GilkesKeymaster@yuhuihuang. Actually, when I check your site, every other page has mootools loaded except that page. That is very strange. I can’t tell you exactly what to do to fix it, since I don’t know what is causing it. What I want you to try is to either add the listing to another page or create a new page and add the listing. I want you to actually see it working on your site.
However, to show you exactly what I mean about Mootools missing on that page and not on the others, please look at these screenshots:
September 9, 2013 at 4:39 pm #1417yuhuihuangParticipantI have added the listing to another page as well as creating a new page with the listing, and neither seem to work.
See the following:

Any other suggestion?
Thank you for your assistance!
September 9, 2013 at 7:18 pm #1418Michael GilkesKeymaster@yuhuihuang. I would like to test out some things myself. Is it possible for you to give me a temporary admin login to your site? Just email me the credentials (support[at]valorapps[dot]com).
