Hi, I’ve loaded the plugin successfully and you can see the results here – http://www.tasar.com.au/jupgrade/index.php/the-tasar-mainmenu-26/document-archive-downloads
The problem is, I have 10 sub-folders that should be displayed but aren’t. In the plugin configuration, I’ve checked ‘Show Subfolders’ to Yes and set the level to 1. It’s a J2.5.6 site.
Any ideas why I can’t see the sub folders?
JR
@jross. Thanks for your question. From what you explain, the subfolders should show. I just tested it on my website. If you set the level to something else other than 1, do the subfolders show?
Try this in the article:
1 |
{easyfolderlistingpro folder='dmdocuments'|level='1'} |
Don’t forget to Toggle the Editor when adding the code above.
My site also does not display subfolder content. I went to plugin manager….to my surprise I dont see easy folder in my pluggin , how come?. can you help (I downloaded easy folder (not pro)
@uni5. Easy Folder Listing Module does not show sub-folders. It only shows the files in a folder. Easy Folder Listing Pro Plugin shows both files and sub-folders in a folder. Hope this helps.
when I unstalled the free version and download pro 2.2 , then I dont see the module of easy folder. I see only the plugin manager. what shall I do?
In the plugin I set to 5 level.
I did three easy folder modules and inserted in an article.
http://uni5.co/index.php/en/testing-easy.html
The first module had one photo and 5 sub folders. But it showed the photo without sub folder.
the second module had only sub folders with pdf files in it. Totally it was not displayed.
the third modeul with 40 pdf files with no sub folders, displayed all.
So how to display contents along with sub folders.
@uni5. Thanks for posting. From looking at your page, you seem to be totally confused. You have both Easy Folder Listing module and Easy Folder Listing Pro plugin installed. yet, you are trying to display the module 3 times on the page for each folder.
You are not using the plugin at all.
As I explained in the previous post, the module and plugin are two very different products and do different things. I had sent you a link to the documentation on how to use the plugin. All you need to do is to se the settings for the plugin, and then type:
1 |
{easyfolderlistingpro} |
in an article. That’s it. If you need help doing this, please send me an email with a temporary login credentials so that I can log into your site and set it up for you.
