Could you add an option to the plugin which optionally enables the IP Anonymization in Analytics? It is described here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2763052?hl=en
Basically all you need to do is to add the line
ga('set', 'anonymizeIp', true)to the analytics code.Thanks for your feedback
