    @bahameed. Thanks for purchasing my software! You don’t need to send me any details. I get a copy of everything. Just send me an email from the email account you used to make the purchase, and I’ll send you the download link. I may be away from a computer for the next hour or two, though.

    Usually, most people tell me that sometimes the download email gets sent to their spam folder, so you might want to check there first. If you don’t find it, just send me the email, I will check my records and send you the link.

    Talk to you later. gotta go!

    @imrich. I don’t know what could be causing your problem. I just tested it in my copy of Joomla 1.6.3 and it works as expected. one thing to keep in mind, after you create the new folder in the root directory, please remember to come out of the Module manager by clicking ‘Close’, and then go back into it. You should see it updated then.

    It is not too difficult to figure out how to change the root folder. You are free to edit the code as you see fit. There are a number of ways to do it. The easiest and quickest way is to edit the xml manifest file. See the following for assistance: http://docs.joomla.org/Folderlist_parameter_type

    @realtoast. Thanks for posting. Hmmm… that’s interesting, because the correct expression is:

    {easyfolderlistingpro folder=’images/Document Library/Medical Plan Documents’}

    I don’t know why the WYSIWYG editor added that unwanted text. Did you try to toggle or disable the editor?

    @trogladyte. Awesome! I am glad you were able to get everything working well!

    Thanks for your compliments! I try my best to be honest and courteous with everyone. I don’t always get it right, but I am glad I didn’t offend you or anyone with my response. I am glad it helped! All the best to you!

    @db. You didn’t come off as rude at all. I was just surprised that you missed it. I hope I didn’t come off as upset or anything like that. I’m cool with you asking for help. I want persons to enjoy using my software.

    Actually, I am guilty of missing stuff too, because when I read your post, I didn’t even realize that you were talking about the Easy Folder Listing Pro. We’ve both spent way too long in front the computer today. 🙂

    For the record, could you share what you did to solve your problem with the Easy Folder Listing Pro? It would be good to help others who may encounter the same problem.

    As for the flash uploader, I think I can easily fix your problem. However, I want you to run test_script3 on your server, and copy and past the results in a post to me. Or, if you want more privacy, just send the result to my email.

    @db. Thanks for using and purchasing my extensions. First of all, I would be happy to help you out.

    However, if you checked the website, you will see that under Requirements, I have listed PHP 5.3+. So, I don’t know how you missed it the first couple times. I think I even have it at the JED listing page for the plugin.

    Anyways, what version of php do you actually have? Is it 5.2.x? Also, what version of Joomla are you using? 1.5 or 1.6?

    Also, we have discussed this quite a bit on the forums here. Check out the threads: http://support.michaelgilkes.com/tags/mime

    If you don’t find a solution to your problem, I let me know, and we can work together from there. All the best!

    @db. You can change this by accessing the styles.css file in the plugin’s folder. Look for the block declaration for button.cancelAll and add your font information there.

    All the best.

    @trogladyte. Thanks for replying. I appreciate you providing the link to the example of the problem.

    From examining the page source, I have to conclude that someone has edited the module code to attempt to specify, target=”_blank”, and in that attempt has caused the error that you are experiencing. So, if you, personally, did not edit it, someone else did. Out of the box, the module does not exhibit this behavior and your generated code proves it. When I looked at the page source, this is what I see:

    As you can see from the code above, taken from your website, someone attempted to add a target, and in doing so, changed the way the double quotes are placed, and thus created your problem.

    Now, for the record, I actually encourage persons to customize their copy of my code. However, if you do customize it, and you need help, you have to let others know what you have done with the code. It really isn’t fair to suggest that the code, as given, produces an error, when it was edited after installation.

    If you wanted the links to open in a new window, you could have found that solution at this topic. The edited code was contributed by forum member and module user, jondiego. using that code will fix your problem.

    Hope this helps.

    @trogladyte. Thanks for using my module. From your description above, I am not sure what you did to get that result. if I am to assist you, you will need to provide some more information. For example, what parent did you select, what text did you enter in “location within the parent folder”, any changes you made to the source code.

    Something weird is going on since I see %22 in the middle of link.

    @savvasha. Hi! Thanks for your feedback! I would love to know what you actually tried. Oh, it also would be helpful if I could view your page that shows the problem. The only way that I have been able to reproduce the problem is when I don’t have a charset meta tag. But, the funny thing is that Joomla puts that in automatically (at least, that’s what I have observed).

    If you don’t mind, could you send me a link to the page that has the listing so that I can see for myself, and examine the page?

    I am just about to release version 1.0, and I want to have this issue solved for the new release. So, I need all the help I can get.

    @vry6. Wow! Those icons look pretty sweet!!! Nice! I like them!

    Ok, as for adding padding, or space, to the list, you can easily edit the styles.css file in the css folder in plugins/content/easyfolderlistingpro, and add the following:

    @dawn2. No problem. Thanks for your question. To adjust the background of the button, you can do one of two things.

    1. First, you can go into the Plugin manager, and change the Button Render Mode from WINDOW to TRANSPARENT. This should fix your problem. If it doesn’t…
    2. Then, you may have to edit the image file for the button with an image editor like Photoshop, GIMP, or Paint.NET, and change the background areas to the color you want.

    I will launch a custom button maker soon. I am almost finish tweaking it. Keep an eye out on my blog or twitter posts!

    @dawn2. No problem. No need to apologize. If I seemed too blunt or discourteous in my response, I apologize. That was never intended. I hope that the topics that I pointed you to will give you the answer you need. If they don’t, please feel free to continue the discussion.

    As your PHP version is 5.2.5, that is most likely the culprit. There is a workaround for that. So, please keep an eye out for it in the related topics on the site.

    All the best.

    @dawn2. Thanks for your question. Please note that there are several existing topics regarding this very question. Have a look here: http://support.michaelgilkes.com/tags/mime

    Also, when you post to the forum for assistance, please provide your Joomla version, extension version, and PHP version. I really cannot help you if I don’t have that minimal information. Also, when stating your version, please be precise. For example, instead of saying you have PHP5, state that you have PHP 5.2.9

    Thanks

    @decay. the short answer to your question is YES! You can use it anywhere on the site. It’s a plugin. That’s how they were designed.

    As for the syntax, you have it right except for the parameter name and the lack of single quotes. Please look at the paramater list on my website. But, basically, you would have something like:

    {easyfolderlistingpro folder=’images/pressreleases’}

    and on another page (or even the same page) have:

    {easyfolderlistingpro folder=’images/news’}
