Hi,
I’m happy with this plugin in general.
I allow upload only to registered users. But the notification doesn’t show the user/username. Just ‘A guest (Guest)’
Please advice.
Thanks,
mizu
@mizu. Thanks for posting. I had a look at the code again, and it only lists guest if the user is a guest. Are you sure that only registered users can access the page?
thanks for getting back so quickly.
Yes, it makes no difference if a user is registered or not. The notification always refers to a user as ‘guest’. I tried several times.
Joomla 2.5.4
PHP 5.2.17
Hi,
my issue has mysteriously vanished. I tried this morning and the username appears in the mail.
All fine 🙂
Thanks,
mizu
Hi Michael
I am having this issue also. Only registered users can access the page that I have this on. I tried making this both as a custom module that was available to registered users only as well as an article that was available to registered users only and got the same result both times. Do you have any ideas about how to correct this?
Hi Michael
I think this has something to do with the fact that I am using Joomla 2.5.9. It looks like maybe the sytax changed? I tried to figure this out myself, but I am not that great with php. Could you lend a hand?
HI Michael
I have tried to solve this myself, but unfortunately I am hitting a wall here. Is there any way that you could look at this?
I am using
PHP 5.3.22
Joomla! Version 2.5.9 Stable
I can pay for support if need be.

@mlathey. Thanks for posting. I do not charge persons for support. So, please don’t worry about that. I am not sure why you are having this problem. However, I am happy to help you with it. Please send me an email explaining what you have done so far. I will need you to create a temporary admin login for me on your site. After you do that, I’ll login and test it out for you, and see what is going on. The code as it is right now works without issue with Joomla 2.5 as well as previous versions. I have tested it on my server and those of other clients. Nonetheless, I am happy to help you with your situation. Please send the email to support[at]valorapps[dot]com.
