    Hey Mike,

I am having problems with uploading, i get invalid file type. I searched your forum and noticed that you may be able to make a work around if I can give you the information of the script you wrote. Would you mind helping me out? If so just let me know where you would like me to send the results.

    Thanks

    Hey Mike,

I just saw your “easy folder listing pro” program as well. I checked for compatibility on it before I downloaded and didnt see anything about the php so I purchased it. Come to find out I read in your readme.txt that I need a later version of php. Is there anyway you can help me with this too? The error I am getting is:

Warning: stat() [function.stat]: stat failed for /DATA/ in /home2/yourchri/public_html/plugins/content/easyfolderlistingpro.php on line 1043

I changed the default folder to /data.

    Thanks a ton!

I just got the easy folder listing issue solved, but could still use your assistance with the flash uploader.

    Thanks!

@db. Thanks for using and purchasing my extensions. First of all, I would be happy to help you out.

However, if you checked the website, you will see that under Requirements, I have listed PHP 5.3+. So, I don’t know how you missed it the first couple times. I think I even have it at the JED listing page for the plugin.

Anyways, what version of php do you actually have? Is it 5.2.x? Also, what version of Joomla are you using? 1.5 or 1.6?

Also, we have discussed this quite a bit on the forums here. Check out the threads: http://support.michaelgilkes.com/tags/mime

If you don’t find a solution to your problem, I let me know, and we can work together from there. All the best!

My apologies is i came off rude in the above statements. It has been a long day and I could have easily looked over the compatibility if the php. So many hours in front of a computer can do that to ya =D.

I noticed the numerous posts on the site regarding this earlier today. I looked over the different threads in your link and a couple I had seen before and the others unfortunately, weren’t helpful in this situation. The main thread I had discovered earlier pointed me to your post about the hackers and the php versions, and the exec being disabled.

Here is the information you requested and I hope that we can figure this out.

    PHP: 5.2.17

    Joomla: 1.5

    Thanks a ton!

@db. You didn’t come off as rude at all. I was just surprised that you missed it. I hope I didn’t come off as upset or anything like that. I’m cool with you asking for help. I want persons to enjoy using my software.

Actually, I am guilty of missing stuff too, because when I read your post, I didn’t even realize that you were talking about the Easy Folder Listing Pro. We’ve both spent way too long in front the computer today. 🙂

For the record, could you share what you did to solve your problem with the Easy Folder Listing Pro? It would be good to help others who may encounter the same problem.

As for the flash uploader, I think I can easily fix your problem. However, I want you to run test_script3 on your server, and copy and past the results in a post to me. Or, if you want more privacy, just send the result to my email.

    Sure.

For the Easy File Listing issue it was the directory path. the folder /DATA was typed in all caps on the server and on in the plug-in. I then reinstalled the plugin to see how it was originally because it worked until the path was changed (or at least i thought that was the issue) and i noticed everything was lowercase. so i changed DATA to data as the folder title and in the plugin path, tested it, and then it worked. It just doesn’t like caps.

as for the script i will send you an email 🙂
