Newly added {easyfolderlistingpro profile="27" } in articles causes the article to not loa

I updated to 3.1 and I am now experiencing problems adding folder listing to articles. When I add “{easyfolderlistingpro profile=”2″ }” to an article it causes the article to not respond when save or save and close. The browser eventually gives you an error message like “gateway timeout”.

I did notice in “Global Configuration”, Super User does not show any rights.

One additional item.

Pre-existing articles with {easyfolderlistingpro ….} are working correctly.

I’ve also checked the new articles for foreign characters in the article code.

@stenniswood. Version 3.1 works in the same basic way as prior versions. It is still the content plugin that renders the listing. There is nothing in the code the would cause a “gateway timeout”. Specifying the profile definitely would not give any error like that. In addition, nothing in the extension changes the Super User rights. Are you having any error codes in your PHP logs or in the Easy Folder Listing Pro error logs?

I would be happy to take a look at your settings and to investigate that behavior myself, directly. Please create a temporary admin login for me and email me the details, and I will log in and have a look.

If you use the Easy Listing button or manually type this code {easyfolderlistingpro profile=”2″} my article editor is converting it to this when you look at the article with the source code mode {easyfolderlistingpro profile="2"}.

In source code mode, if I change the line to read {easyfolderlistingpro profile=”2″} and save and close. Everything works correctly.

I am using JoomlaCK as my default editor.

@stenniswood. JoomlaCK editor is changing the quotes. You can change this behavior by changing the settings for your JoomlaCK editor plugin. There is a specific option to enable/disable this behavior in JoomlaCK. I have done this for other customers with a temporary admin login, and I can do this for you, if you prefer.

Thanks Michael I figured it out.

In JoomlaCK I had to turn “Process HTML Entities” off and turn “magic_quotes” off in my php.ini.
