List Files in Sub-Folders and Not Folders?

Hello,

Sorry to bother you but I was wondering if you might be able to help me.

We have a group of files in a folder called ‘Documents’. Within the ‘Documents’ folder are sub-folders called ‘2020’, ‘2019’, ‘2018’ etc. Each of the year folders has files displayed in them.

What I was hoping was that the module would allow us to display all of the files saved in the ‘Documents’ folder and any sub-folders, without listing the folders.

For example, if we have ‘document1.pdf’ saved in the ‘Documents’ folder and ‘2020.pdf’ in the ‘2020’ folder, we would like to module to list the files (document1.pdf and 2020.pdf) and with the files listed in date order.

Is this possible?

@jtg. Hi James. Thanks for posting. Although the extension was not designed to do exactly what you ask, I think it might be possible if you make the following setting changes to your listing’s Profile:

1. Set the “Display Method” in Basic Details to “Paginated”
2. Set “Sort Column” to “Date” in Sorting
3. Set “Page Limit” to “All” in Types
4. Set “Show Limit” to “No” in Types

That should do what you have described. Let me know how it works out.
