Easy Folder Listing Pro 3.5 Update

Hi Michael,

I have downloaded the latest version 3.5 of Easy Folder Listing Pro Plugin and installed this successfully in an attempt to update the version on my client’s website. The extension installs successfully but still thinks it’s version 3.4.

I have tried using the Joomla update option but this fails with “Error Invalid extension update” even though I have a current order number entered under the Subscription Updates tab in the component options. (This option seems to work OK on a different website).

@ozneilau. Thanks for posting. Let me address the two issues you mentioned:

1. It seems as though I made a typo while I was building the installation file. So, it still said 3.4, instead of 3.5. I just fixed it. I apologize for that. For some reason, I missed this mistake when I was double checking everything. Now that it is fixed, you should be able to install the update again, and it should get the right version number. If it doesn’t work, let me know.

2. You are the second person within two weeks to mention an invalid extension update error. I tried to replicate this error on my servers, and I was not able to. The unique thing about your situation is that it updates on one installation and errors on another. Would you be willing to help me figure this out? If you could first provide information about both your servers (PHP version, Joomla version, whether a fresh install or upgrade from previous Joomla version, PHP error logs, etc). You can email me this info.
