Advanced Folder listing componenet DOES NOT sync with the folder automatically.

The Advanced Folder listing component was installed correctly. It really works fine except one major issue. It does not sync files automatically with underlying folder on the server. Everytime users upload files using Easy File Uploader, I HAVE TO MANUALLY sync component with the folder. It’s the same with file deletion.

This makes this application unworkable and confusing users. Previously I used your free version and worked fine. Can you please advise how to fix this issue?

If we cannot, I have to say app is useless (although cost much).

@polk. This is not an issue. Advanced Folder Listing was designed to have manual sync. This is because its main purpose is to allow listing files with extra descriptive information (metadata). It can also be used to specify files with custom text or images instead of the filename.

The only products that have automatic file discovery are Easy Folder Listing module, and Easy Folder Listing Pro plugin.

I understand what you are saying but I was mislead by your product description. There is nothing in clear saying that it would be manual sync, especially when you come from free version.

This is your description from web site:

I think I would like to for refund or Easy Listing pro plugin as a compensation

@polk. Thanks for your observation. However, in actuality, none of the listing products specify whether it has automatic discovery of files or not. Upon reflecting on the descriptions for the 3 products (Easy Folder Listing, Easy Folder Listing Pro, and Advanced Folder Listing) the truth is that I never considered automatic file discovery or manual sync as a feature of any of the products. So, I never listed it as such. I was never a matter of misleading anyone or with that intent in mind. I still don’t think the description misleads anyone since it does everything the description says. Regardless of that, if I recall correctly, I do demonstrate the manual Sync in the Introduction Video on the product page.

Nonetheless, I will give you access to Easy Folder listing Pro, since you feel you were not fully informed. I will be out of the office for most of the day today, but please send me an email, and I will attach the plugin in response.
