More info on this problem.
Joomla 2.5.28, Advanced Listing 1.5.5, folder in question has 64 files.
I cleaned and synced files.
One Advanced Listing displays date added and filename fields, sorted by date. It seems fine.
The problematic Advanced Listing displays only the filename field and is supposed to sort by that field.
