ParticipantHello Michael,
i bought the easy folder listing pro software and i’m very pleased with it.
The only problem is that i can’t find a way to make my documents appear in alphabetical order, no matter what i try. Ik have read that i’m not the first who has had problems with this, but i haven’t come by any sollution.
Can you help me to solve this problem? I suppose it has worked with some others to? I use the version for joomla 2.5

Keymaster@onkt. Thanks for contacting me. First of all, Version 3.2 doesn’t support Joomla 2.5. It works on Joomla 3.4+ only.
Sorting has been tested and works. So, I am not sure what you are talking about. However, there are 4 types of sorting algorithms to choose from, and for each one you can specify the sorting direction. You should also specify which column to sort by.
The sorting algorithm you choose directly influences how the sorting is done. You should try the different options to see which one works best for you.
Let me know if you understand what I am referring to. Next time, please post a link to your webpage so that I can understand what your problem is. Thanks.

ParticipantHello Michael,
thx for your response! I think i didn’t make myself very clear 😉
I’m using a joomla 2.5 website and am using version 2.7 of easy folder listing pro.
Everything works, accept the alphabetical ordering.
Example on my website:
http://www.sgsnbao.be/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=146&Itemid=684
I set the options
– sort column: name
– sort direction: ascending
but as you can see, it doesn’t work on my files
thx for the support,
Yves

Keymaster@onkt. I am sorry to say that I can’t really help you with those older versions. I no longer provide support for them. Joomla 2.5 is no longer supported by Open Source Matters. Also, the sorting issue you are having has already been addressed by version 3.0+ editions of the software.
You really should consider upgrading to Joomla 3.4.1. JED no longer hosts extensions that are compatible with Joomla 2.5.
To get it working, you will need to purchase the current version of Easy Folder Listing Pro. I have added the version 3.1.9 tot he download list, for archival purposes. You may use that until you upgrade your Joomla version. If you email me, you can also receive a 30% discount coupon, since you are an existing customer.

However, as a previous customer, you are afforded a discount on the purchase of the current major release. Please send me an email to support[at]valorapps[dot]com with a the order number of your previous purchase, and I will give you a 30% discount coupon.
