I need my files to sort by filename, when the filename is a date. Example:

2011-11-2

2011-11-1

2011-10-30

2011-10-29

However, it doesn’t sort correctly – a January date would sort before November, when set to ‘sortorder=desc’:

2011-1-5

2011-11-2

2011-11-1

2011-10-30

2011-10-29

How can I format my file names so that they will sort correctly?

Good grief! My apologies – I haven’t had enough coffee today. The file names need to contain a two digit date format, with a leading “0” for months and days with a single digit…
