Hello,
I’ve a little question before purchasing your extension.
I’ve +/- 800 documents in my list (all one page documents) so I hope it will give no problem showing them.
Is it possible first to show only the filter and not all the documents in a list. It is just after someone uses the filter, the selected documents have to be shown. It is to prevent everyone sees all the documents. I would like to show only the selected documents.

No, it is currently not possible to filter an empty list. Also, showing hundreds of documents in a webpage in the form of a table or unordered list is not going to work out well.
I hope that my the end of the first quarter next year, I will provide a “Document Depository” component that will go exactly as you request here. However, none of my current extensions will provide the functionality that you require. I apologize for this inconvenience.

So if I understand right, in your new component ‘document repository’ it will be possible to have a lot of documents and it will be possible to select from an empty list. Be able to select from an empty list will it make possible to show only a very short list.
Something interesting for me might be to be set a minimum of characters in the filter. This will make it possible to always have a very short list after the search.
So if it this you are programming, I will wait purchasing it. It can wait a little bit. I still have to figure out how I have to generate all my individual pdf-documents with a mailmerge and to give them all a specific documentname.
