    Hi Michael

    I’m trying to get the uploader to upload csv files, I look at the page http://www.webmaster-toolkit.com/mime-types.shtml but the csv isn’t there, also I try with text/plain and text/csv but doesn’t work neither.

    Regards

    @davidgarciaowen. What you will have to do is to run my test script in a folder with a csv file in it, on your server, and it will tell you what mime type your server detects. You can find the script at this topic post.

    This is the result from test script version 4

    MUNDIAL_pmundial3.csv text/plain text/plain text/plain[text/plain; charset=us-ascii] text/plain [text/plain; charset=us-ascii ]

    The text/plain was included since de begining, ideas?

    @davidgarciaowen. What error are you actually getting? either provide me a screenshot or copy and paste the error. And… which product are we talking about?

    This topic should probably be in the Easy File Uploader thread.

    @michaelgilkes: the error is

    ERROR: El tipo de archivo subido (text/plain)no está permitido.

    The translation is: The uploaded filetype (text/plain) is not allowed.

    @davidgarciaowen. Send me an email to support[at]valorapps[dot]com. Please include your screenshot, Joomla version, the version of Easy File Uploader you are using, and a link to the webpage with the uploader (so that I can test it myself). If I need a login to test the page, please create a temporary admin login for me, and email me the details. I will log into your admin backend and work on it for you directly.
