I just bought Advanced Folder Listing 1.5.5

I tried it first on my test server under XAMPP on Windows platform.

First problem: no subfolders were displayed, only an unstructured big list of files.

I noticed that in the “Files” list, subfolders were displyed with the “” path separator isntead of ‘/’, perhaps this is the problem?

    PHP was 5.4.22.

    @j_hoppe. Thanks for posting.

To be honest, I don’t understand what problem you are actually having. You will need to explain or show what you did and what options you selected. Normally, I would ask for a temporary admin login so I could login and examine what you did and see the result for myself. I really can’t diagnose your situation based on what you have written so far.

For example, there are 3 ways to display a listing with AFL: Unordered List, Table, and Paginated Table. You may also setup the listing either through a menu item or through the plugin in an article. You have yet to explain which options you chose to use. If you chose Paginated tables, no subfolders will show. If you chose Unordered List or Table, the subfolders will show only if you have the “Show Subfolders” option set to “Yes”. In addition, you never provided a screenshot of your listing settings or showed what you entered for Listing Path. These are all crucial data that I would need to be able to assist you effectively.

in addition, please make sure to clean the sync before syncing again.

    Hi, thanks for answering.

I made an “Single Table Listing”, “Show Sub menus” is “yes”.

You can download all available data from

    ftp://j-hoppe.dyndns.org/afl-xamp/

xamp-menudisplay.jpg – the page output screenshot

xamp-menuitem.jpg – the menu defintion screenshot

mysql.sql – The content of all _advlisting_* Tables

(You will notice that there are a lot of files for listings #100, which is deleted)

    regards

    Joerg

@j_hoppe. Thanks for replying. Thanks for the data you provided. Unfortunately, you didn’t provide the listing settings. This can be found in the Basic Details when you edit the listing in the Listing Manager.

There are now 2 screenshots of the listing form on ftp:

    xamp-listingdetails1.jpg

    xamp-listingdetails2.jpg

Its far better to read than the dump of table j17_advlisting_listings 🙂
