    Hello,

I have been using Easy Flash Uploader for a year now and it has always worked until today. As of this morning whenever I try to upload any file I get “Upload Error: 302”. I have contacted my hosting provider “SiteGround” and they tell me to uninstall and reinstall because the issue must be with the plugin. Can you tell me what could cause a 302 error?

    Thanks

@chriseagleson. Thanks for posting. So, everything was working fine until today? Did anything change on your server last night? A 302 error typically has to do with URL redirection. However, persons have had this error before when using SWFUpload-based uploaders, but typically the error just doesn’t appear out of nowhere. If you do a google search on “swfupload error 302”. Some sol ed it by updating their flash player, others by editing their .htaccess file by adding “SecFilterEngine Off”.

I don’t know your particular circumstances. I would like to test it out myself. Please send me an email with a link to the uploader’s web page. I will test it and see what is happening, and we’ll work together from there. However, the fact that the plugin was working fine for over a year, and just started to give trouble, means that the issue is not with the plugin. Someone changed some setting on the server, relating to your domain. Maybe, redirecting from domain.com to http://www.yourdomain.com. Logic tells us that the issue cannot be the plugin if the plugin was working for over a year, and with no change to the plugin code, just is not working.
